Getting started
Everything you need to know is contained in the Make Your Mark Challenge Information Pack. If you took part in the Make Your Mark Challenge 2007 you will automatically receive an information pack in the post.
To order a copy email banana@makeyourmarkchallenge.org.uk with your name, school and address and we will post you a hard copy. Alternatively, call the Make Your Mark Challenge Hotline on 0845 094 0226.
Registration - opens August 2008
You must register to take part in the Make Your Mark Challenge. Registration takes place online on this website and will open in August 2008. The deadline for registration is 17 October 2008. There are two age categories: 14-16 years and 16-19 years.
Please have the following information ready for registration:
- Your name
- Contact Details
- Total number of students taking part (remember teams must have 4-6 students but you can run the day with as many teams as you like)
Key dates
17 October 2008 – Registration deadline
17 November 2008 – Competition Day: Make Your Mark Challenge brief revealed (online from midnight on 16 November)
19 November 2008 – Submit your winning entry online by 1.00pm
21 November 2008 – Announcement of 14-16 category teams invited to Regional Finals
28 November 2008 – Regional Finals (14-16 category entries only). Also on this day the top 10 finalists in 16-19 category will be announced.
9 December 2008 – National Final (14-16 and 16-19 categories)
