What's this?

“The UK is home to some very well known entrepreneurs, but it is important to keep young talent coming through to ensure the success of our economy, and to meet the challenges of globalisation and climate change. I hope Enterprise Week shows budding entrepreneurs how creative, fun and rewarding the business world can be.”

Richard Lambert, Director-General of the CBI

One of the great benefits of taking part in Enterprise Week is the opportunity to generate news, either to promote your Enterprise Week activities, to showcase the work you are doing all year round, or to encourage debate about the importance of fuelling an enterprise culture in the UK.

Here at the Make Your Mark campaign we work hard to create news both nationally and regionally by highlighting the best events and activities during the week. But we can’t cover them all so it's important that you think about promoting your own event.

If you don’t have access to your own PR services, you can use our press templates to create some noise. For some great advice on how to get your events in the news, check out our top tips section.

In 2006 Enterprise Week generated 1,344 news articles and TV or radio interviews. There were more than 1,000 articles in regional papers, and we also had coverage in every national daily paper and all of the weekend broadsheets. This year we want to give Enterprise Week an even higher profile!
