The 2009 London Enterprise Challenge (Some District Heats)
The London Enterprise Challenge is an innovative, fun competition for schools. The London Enterprise Challenge is an annual competition open to Year 10 students in schools across London, and meets the Government’s guidelines for enterprise learning in schools. These include areas such as innovation, enterprise thinking, financial understanding and team work. It's also a PDP day for teaching staff.
So what happens? Heats are held between October 2008 and June 2009, with several within National Enterpise Week. A heat is held at a host school within each borough or London district. It's a one-day event, and schools are invited to enter one or two teams of five Year 10 students per team. The winning teams from each heat go through to the Grand Final of the competition at Canary Wharf in July. Check out the website for more info. BUT MAKE SURE YOUR SCHOOL IS PART OF THE COMPETITION!
