november special enterprise issue

What Do We Have Planned? The SPECIAL NOVEMBER ISSUE of informnorth will focus on the wider enterprise and entrepreneurship agenda within the North East. Just now we are interested in helping our partners and other community based/business enterprise organisations raise awareness of their own USP's and objectives - at a strategic and community level - and cover key success stories and case studies etc.

What Exactly Do We Do? As the only social enterprise business of our kind anywhere in the UK, we publish informnorth magazine with the support of an unrivaled collection of partner organisations across just about every sector. 15,000 magazines are widely distributed free of charge six times each year through our unique network of partners where we often act as their preferred or sole media partner.

What DO We Want? We want to help you. We also want to help enthuse, inspire, educate and 'inform' our readers so that basically, far more individuals will be able to make more 'informed' and much better life choices. We believe we can best do this by widening our network of partners and continue to use National Enterprise week as the annual springboard to help stimulate and inspire young people, their peers and adults of all ages all year round. We want everybody to be more aware there are a fantastic range of opportunities open to them at all life stages, a massive range of quality sources of help and support available and many key organisations that can help them take that important next step in life - whatever it may be. Many of the readers we target don't read other media or listen to the radio as background noise so we play up to that, but in a non patronizing and informative way.

What Are We Good At? We're not perfect but if you haven't seen the magazine before, don't know enough about our objectives or who our partners are please visit www.informnorth.com - we're not interested in run-of-the-mill PR or old editorials that are doing the rounds but want to help existing and new partners achieve their own objectives. By doing this, we usually find there are often real win-wins to be had on both sides. For us it's not just about 'filling' space - and as a social enterprise ever about just grabbing and spending finite advertising budgets - but about real partnerships and mutual support over the longer term.

You're Sold But Don't Know Us? That's fine, just visit us online and download a fact sheet and our media pack at the bottom right of each page. Whilst you're there, look at our partners, download all previous issue FOC from the archive. Also, please look at our testimonials page - every single one is real - these are partners that we have helped through the magazine that have asked us to lend our expertise and knowledge to advertising campaigns, marketing literature and banner stands etc for exhibitions as well as other areas where they needed help and support.
